About

Last updated April 19, 2026

Zairussalam Tools is a growing catalog of free web tools that run entirely in your browser — no uploads, no accounts, no tracking of what you type, paste, or process.

Who's behind this

I'm Ibrahimsyah Zairussalam (Baim), a solo indie developer based in Indonesia. I build software for a living and always hit the same problem: I need a quick utility — format some JSON, compress an image, merge a few PDFs — and every site that does it wants me to sign up, upload my file to their servers, or sit through an ad before I can start.

What this site is

A curated set of tools — currently around sixty — across Developer, Image, Text, Converter, Utility, PDF, and Health categories. Every tool runs in your browser via standard web APIs and well-audited open-source libraries. Your data never leaves your device.

The site also publishes occasional articles on the blog: short, practical pieces about the tools, the formats they work with, and the tradeoffs behind them.

What this site isn't

  • Not a SaaS. No login required for any tool. The optional Google sign-in only exists for features that genuinely need identity (none at the moment).
  • Not ad-supported. No third-party ads, no tracking scripts beyond privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics for aggregate visit counts.
  • Not medical or legal advice. The Health tools cite peer-reviewed sources but are informational only — see the disclaimer.

How it's built

Next.js on the App Router, TypeScript in strict mode, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn components, and a Supabase database for counting aggregate tool visits. Hosted on Vercel. CodeMirror powers the code editors; pdf-lib, pdfjs-dist, and a handful of other well-maintained open source libraries do the heavy lifting for the specialized tools.

Support the work

If a tool saved you time, consider buying me a coffee on Ko-fi. It directly funds more tools and keeps the site ad-free.
