Create zip archives or extract them — entirely in your browser. No uploads.
Create zip archives from any files on your device, or extract an existing .zip to inspect and download its contents — all in your browser. Files are compressed and decompressed locally with fflate, so nothing is ever uploaded to a server. Perfect for quick bundling, one-off extractions, and handling sensitive files you can't send to an online service.
Pick a mode
Switch between Zip files and Unzip archive at the top of the tool.
Add your files
In Zip mode, drop one or more files into the drop zone. In Unzip mode, drop a single .zip archive.
Create or extract
Click Create zip to download archive.zip, or browse the extracted entries and download them individually or all at once.
No. Compression and extraction happen entirely in your browser using fflate. Nothing is sent to a server.
Standard .zip archives, including deflate-compressed entries. Password-protected zips and other formats like .rar or .7z are not supported.
There is no hard limit, but everything is processed in memory. Very large archives (hundreds of MB or more) may be slow or hit your browser's memory ceiling.
When extracting, the original paths are shown in the file list. When zipping, files are placed at the root of the archive using their original names — duplicates are auto-renamed.
The browser triggers a separate download for each file. Some browsers ask for permission on the first download of a batch — allow it and the rest will save automatically.
